How it works
The Vbeam laser produces a beam of light that destroys vascular lesions without affecting the surrounding skin. You will feel a mild tingling sensation similar to an elastic band snapping the skin and there is no anaesthesia required.
Recovery
The treatment is gentle and patients are able to return to work the same day. There is usually a temporary redness on the treated area that can be quickly soothed with ice.
Results
Most patients will see improvement in their vascular and pigmented skin conditions with quite dramatic results. For best results, facial veins normally need two treatments six to eight weeks apart.
